Consultations

Lise Wolff treats people of all ages, from newborns to seniors, for a wide variety of conditions, among them pain, skin problems, fibromyalgia, allergies, environmental sensitivities, fertility issues, autoimmune disorders, headaches, migraines, menstrual and hormonal imbalances, ADHD, depression, anxiety, stress, fatigue, arthritis and neurological and muscular-skeletal concerns.

An initial consultation lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours and is based on an extended conversation about past and present physical and emotional health as they relate to the client's current concerns. As an herbalist, Lise functions as a detective, and the symptoms function as clues. Seemingly unrelated symptoms or illnesses may become important within a holistic framework, so clients are encouraged to make a list for themselves of their health concerns and history to jog the memory for the consultation and ensuing discussion. Follow-up visits are generally scheduled three to five weeks after the initial appointment and generally last 30-60 minutes.

During the warmer weather, Lise is seeing clients for consultations in her backyard as preferred by the client and Lise. Very pleasant. Lots of fresh air.

Lise gathers and prepares local and abundant medicinal plants from the wild. The herbal remedies chosen during the consultation are prepared for clients at their appointments. The medicines usually come in liquid form. Clients often take a few drops of liquid two to four times a day, either orally or topically.

Client Bill of Rights

After a struggle of many years to license or standardize all alternative practitioners in the state, in 2000 Minnesota became the first state to protect the rights of the consumer to receive complementary and alternative care from providers, who though unlicensed by the state, are often overseen by professional organizations for each discipline. This information is provided when you click on the "Client Bill of Rights" button below. Please print and bring a signed copy to your initial consultation.

Client Bill of Rights

“For six years, I suffered from chronic, debilitating migraine headaches. I visited several neurologists and headache specialists in the metro area, but only found minimal relief. About 18 months ago, my craniosacral therapist referred me to Lise. We began working together, and I am happy to report that for the past 14 months I have been completely off of all prescription medications and only using herbs. Lise has been fantastic to work with. She is responsive, very skilled and knowledgeable in what she does, and makes herself easily available. I have my energy and stanima back, and I am now able to be an active member of my family and enjoy my career. I unequivocally trust Lise and would highly recommend her to anyone suffering from chronic pain, or just desiring a more natural, gentle intervention through natural remedies.
